    information about an antique gun

I have a question about an antique gun?
I have an antique gun that I need some information on. It is a single shot small handgun, Where the bullet goes, it has an ejector lever that you have to pull back manualy. On one side of the barrell it has, 6 m/m, U, a crown with a cross on top, B, another crown with a cross on top, it also has a, G, with another crown and a cross on top. On the other side of the barrell it has what looks like some initials, GUC or CUC, on the bottom of the barrell it has, 2812. On the trigger it has, R.B. and what looks like a, Z.
Also, what is is worth, the maker, and where is it from

On a wild guess I would say the pistol is probably European by the marking you are describing but pictures would be the only way to know for sure. The only way to know value is once it is identified then go on line for a ball park figure and then you have to decide if you want to pay an antique expert who deals in guns for a final estimate realizing that demand will drive the price and not always the age of something. As far as I know no American gun maker ever maked their weapons with milimeter (mm) marking for bullet size. Good luck on the hunt for knowledge.

Riodog- Hang on while I run out to the garage and fabricate one of those from an old Belgium pistol I have lying around. I am sure I have three cents worth of silver for the octipus. (LOL).

Posters in this Forum don't know anything....
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.
