    FFL Transfer Protocol

    Hi Guys!

been doing some researching and I am not really finding the answer..... So, can I ask for an FFL "for dummies" summary?

I found a couple of OLL's I really like. So, How do I go about the transfer.... What is the process? Do I talk to a local FFL and get them to agree to recieve it? What are the steps? Sorry for the "dumb" question...... But, I want to make things go as smoothly as possible..... Can you dumb this down for me?

    Thanks

Go to Irvington Arms They will walk you through. Most places that send OLL to California know of them. You might just want to buy from Irvington. It would save you some cash. If you have to have those specific OLL, Then you would pay the out of state FFL he would mail them to Irvington. They would charge you a fee. (I do not know what it is) Then you would do paperwork, wait ten days and pick them up. The people at Irvington Arms are fantastic. They will help you and try to save you money.

I second going to IA. I had a customer come in Sunday and he was there for three hours while we went over everything together. You are not going to get this kind of service from a "transfer dealer", even though Roger's Relics are darn good people too. It always helps to just go to a shop, see what you are looking at, and handle it before you decide. That is whay my little hole in the wall shop does. IA will be able to do that for you too.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
