    Single shot transfer question

Well I wasnt exactly sure where to put this as it could either be pistols or rimfire.

    Heres my question
I know that you cannot purchase a Ruger Charger Pistol at a gunshop as it is shipped from the factory in CA.
My question is would it be possible to do a single shot transfer on a Ruger Charger Pistol?

Everything you need to know about single shot is in this thread. I'd read it to become more familiar with single shot

Yeah, that thread explains single shot quite well, just keep in mind that the ruger charger still needs a magazine lock even after you've gone through the single shot exemption process, as rimfire is not excluded from the handgun AW laws(specifically, the charger's magazine is outside of the pistol grip making it an evil scary assault weapon).

Thank you for that link to the single shot transfer thread
welp I knew it was a short lived hope

you lost me when you said magazine lock

though Im wondering if you somehow modified the pistol grip similar to a featureless idea if that could exempt you from the mag lock
Im assuming thats a no go^^

No, putting a fin(or something similar on it) is for rifles, because on a centerfire semi-auto rifle the pistol grip itself is an "evil feature".

Check the flowchart up at the top of the page under AW&OLL guides for handguns, a magazine outside of the pistol grip(like the ruger charger, or tec-9) is an "evil assault weapon feature".
