Wow those guys take it really seriously.

Too bad airsoft guns aren't more accurate and don't have more range. Would make it more fun if you could actually hit what you were aiming at 150 feet away.

Hahaha, yeah. The gas blowback airsoft rifle I have at home is used mainly for plinking things in the backyard but at ranges beyond 15 feet the gun is basically useless at that point.

I don't know about you guys but my airsoft can reach 70 yards and hit a man size target effectively.

What the heck are they shooting at? I understand cover fire, but when they're driving around and just firing at buildings kinda makes it look like a drive by shooting. Tough job over there to say the least.

So what is the point of airsoft? I know in paintball once you get hit, you can tell because of the paint. So in airsoft what do they do? Just shoot the crap out of each other with those pellets? It's an odd "sport."

Actually, a properly set rifle can be used effectively up to 100 yards.

Minus the goofy sound effects, those guys are TAS-Utah at the BOE Night Ops game, a very serious group of airsofters that come from a lot of military/former military. Some of their games can go live for 72hrs straight.
