USPS delivery confirmation says package delivered, I have no package!

    Hi guys,

I ordered a Butler Creek Lula Universal Pistol Loader from Amazon last week. The United States Post Office delivery confirmation shows the package was delivered.............but I don't have it! I looked all over the front of the house, no where to be found.

What should I do tomorrow, call USPS?
    Thanks,
    Emil

uhh, the first thing you do is call usps. ask them to verify the address your package was delivered and who signed for it.

ive had a cowboy hat delivered down the street to a store, and signed for by them! then they tried to charge me for my own hat! misunderstanding that got fixed but still.

I have never been asked to sign for a package, the mailman just leaves it at the front door. I'm pretty sure it wasn't stolen, I've never had a package taken, even had ammunition sitting on front porch for hours. I'm going to leave a note for the mail man and call USPS tomorrow, thanks.
      Thanks,
      Emil

And that is why I always use a PO BOX for all my deliveries. Safe and someone always signs for it.

If it was sold by Amazon, you are safe. Call Amazon and let them know. They will most likely send out another one to you free of charge.

PO box isn't the best choice for deliveries.

A personal mailbox is a better choice, seeing as how they deliver UPS and Fedex packages as opposed to the PO Box.

Im sorry you have no package.

I had a UPS driver deliver a package to about a mile away from my house. Website said it was at my house. I called and had the driver come back. He said, "I didnt make a delivery here today." Just then a guy drove up and handed me my box.

I have had Fed-ex and UPS deliver to neighbors already not never the USPS. But then there is always a first.

Thanks guys, I'm going to leave a note for the mail man this morning. Only other thing I could think of is sometimes my mail gets mixed up with the neighbor up the street, hopefully that's what happened. I did contact Amazon yesterday, they said if I don't get package by July 1st, they will issue a refund.
                    Thanks,
                    Emil

UPS and Fedex do deliver to PO Boxes through some type of arrangement with USPS. It does take a day or so longer. Obviously this doesn't apply to ammunition which has to go to a physical address.

Check your neighbor's places. I had this happen to me during Christmas.
Mom sent a package of gifts for the grand kiddies and I got a letter stating it was available for pick up at the post office. She had also sent two envelopes with the big package. Site stated envelopes had been "delivered".. and they were... to my neighbor that was out of town for the holiday.
About two weeks later I got a knock on my door and my neighbor holding my envelopes..

I don't know for sure. I was always told UPS cannot ship to PO Boxes. I knwo we don't ship to PO Boxes, but that is because we have perishable items, and a day or two extra is unacceptable.

Many places I order from will not allow a PO Box.

Either way, I have both, and would prefer a personal mailbox over a PO Box. Way easier to deal with.

                              Similar situation............USPS.

I had tracking #'s, Two items showed to arrive same day.

I greet the postal person only one item to sign for.

Checked the USPS site showed both items delivered?

Next morning I take a letter out to the mail box to be mailed.....Missing item in mail box! WTF!! I think the letter carrier (not regular person) had left over mail
and came back and put it in mail box.
