    Good Shops/Ranges In Vegas

I'm going to be heading out to Vegas in a couple of weeks and wanted to get some kind of suggestion on places to go...Like actual stores I can walk in for rifle needs (specifically AKs) and ranges where I can shoot full autos. I'll be near the strip area so any kind of input is greatly apprecaited . What I'm looking for is parts for either Saiga conversions, or Saiga rifle parts themselves and AK parts in general.

Also, can anyone link me to laws regarding me purchasing a firearm in Nevada and brining it back to Cali. (Of course it will be purchased from a store instead of P2P just in-case I have to ship it back if I can't drive with it back). Also, anyone know the laws about having a receiver that is capable of full auto but having that feature completely blocked?

I've shot a M16 at the Gun Store.

Look for coupons on those magazines that you find in the hotel rooms.

I went to discount firearms a few weeks back. Was great, inexpensive, no wait, near the strip. $10 for using range. Plus have a bunch of guns and autos in the store.

You, as a person not holding any type of FFL, can't transfer a firearm as a California resident through a Nevada FFL. It would have to be shipped to a California FFL and DROSed to you here. If it's an off roster handgun, and if you are not an exempted person from the roster (such as a LEO) you would not be able to have that off roster handgun shipped.

If it's an AOW, SBS, SBR or some other form of California unobtainium, fuhgeddaboudit pretty much. There are ways to obtain an AOW in California but those require some time to set up.

See here for some additional details.

@BigDogatPaly- Thank you sir. Will definately go through a Nevada FFL and then shipped to one here in CA. Of course before it gets shipped out if I decide to purchase a firearm in Nevada, it will be CA compliant prior to shipping. I'll be reading and re-reading the info in the link you gave me. Thanks~
