    Painting spider on spikes lower

    I want to paint the spider on my new spikes lower red. any suggestions from anyone who has tried this on how to do it (what kind of brush etc) someone told me to use hobby paint but any pointers/techniques would be greatly appreciated

      A red crayon will also do it. Lasts a surprisingly longtime. I used white/red on my Sig556 and it worked well. Took about 3 mins.

          I started to use the crayon method on my Z.E.D.U. lower and compared it to actual paint. IMHO the paint just 'popped' and stood out more. So I went with paint.

          I used a syringe that came with one of those 'refill you own printer cartridge' kits at staples. I diluted the testers model paint so that it flowed easily out of the syringe and into the engraving. If you mess up, have a clean cotton rag and some solvent to wipe up overflow. Takes a little practice but the results are worth it.

            you can also go to the art store and buy a fine brush and a big magnifying glass and really make it nice. ( Ill post some pics when I do my zombie)
