So there I was doing a oily rag wipe down and check of the guns in safe. Was looking at grandpa's Sears and Robuck side by side shotgun. Which by the way fed his family during the depression. Anyway, there was no warnings, no marking (not even gauge), serial number or instructions on it. Guess they figured if you had the gun, you would know how to use it. Then I get a hold of my Ruger, with all sorts of comments stamped in the barrel. Not sure if we are making progress or not. Or is there some type of ratio/corallary on the number of Lawyers to instructions/warnings? Anybody want to figure that one out?

It's the latter part of your post - Ruger is a bit over the top though - -
It's the lawyer thing.
I am a lawyer and even I get tired of us.
It's like the guy who sues a rake manufacturer because there was no warning that he shouldn't use it to suspend himself from his 3rd floor gutter while painting. (Bit of a joke there, that one wouldn't fly)
We need a Darwin Amendment to the Constitution that you don't need to warn about anything obvious to a reasonable person. If unreasonable people blow their heads off by accident... well that's progress.sigpicComment

it is due to the advent of the phrase "I'm going to sue you" and the readily ample supply of hack lawyers willing to do it.Originally posted by leelawBecause -ohmigosh- they can add their opinions, too?Originally posted by SoCalSig1911Preppers canceled my order this afternoon because I called them a disgrace... Not ordering from those clowns again.Originally posted by PrepperGunShopTruthfully, we cancelled your order because of your lack of civility and your threats ... What is a problem is when you threaten my customer service team and make demands instead of being civil. Plain and simple just don't be an a**hole (where you told us to shove it).Comment

I would think the gutter would be the weak point in that equation. My rakes are solid. OK, little off topic, sorry. It's the lawyer thing.
