    Biggest Gun Show...

I want to know what is the Biggest Gun Show/Expo out there, not just in California but in the Nation. Example, one of the biggest Car Shows in the nation is Sema (in Las Vegas). What Gun show displays all the new products or future products soon to be relesae. And the show has all the top manufactures present. Just naming a few big manufactures: Remington, SigSauer, Glock, Springfield, etc. Not 2nd/3rd parties representing these companies, I want to meet the actual representatives straight from the manufatures.
Where's it at? When is it? Any website or information about them?
    "The list that never ends..."

WTB: 9mm Carbine, preferably AR Type, PM me...

This is the one I was thinking. I hope to attend in '12 as I just missed this year.

Only other shows that come to mind are individual GS by dealers, not by manufacturers, the Reno show comes to mind on that one.

If you're talking about trade-type shows, then SHOT and the NRA annual meeting are the two biggest. Period.

If you're talking about regular gun shows like the weekend ones at fairgrounds, Knob Creek is one if, if not the largest gun shows. It's where the big machinegun shoot is. But that's only twice a year. Still pretty freaking huge. I believe there is also a massive one in Oklahoma.

Then you've got Camp Perry, which is really an annual shooting competition, but it's just massive. And you have all kinds of vendors and manufacturers there selling and showing off wares.
        Please read the Calguns Wiki
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Since when? I've been attending for years and do not have any sort of FFL. At first, I was attending under the FFL I worked for but, that's no longer an option. The last few years, I've just attended as an exhibitor and the booths I work don't have FFLs either. The bottom line is that you must prove that you are in the industry and not just a lookieloo.

SHOT is NOT a gun show though. It is a trade show. There are no guns or ammo for sale there. If you have a retail outlet, you can make deals there and have stuff shipped to you later. The same is true with the NRA show.

My mistake. If you're not an exhibitor I was previously told that the way around this was to get a 03FFL. Looks like I was told and am now part of spreading FUD. I'll update my post.

Here are the requirements for attendance to those that are interested.

If you have a question about attending or exhibiting at the SHOT Show, start here to get answers on badges, onsite hours and more.

Attendance at the SHOT Show is RESTRICTED to the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade and commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products and services ONLY. The show is not open to the public, and NO one under age 16 shall be admitted (including infants).

The "easy" w3ay for a lookieloo to get into the show is to get an 03FFL. But, you just need to PROVE that you are, somehow, in the industry. Last year a few bloggers got in with press passes. If you sell outdoor clothing, run an outfitter or guide service, manufacture plastic tent pegs, etc., you can probably get in pretty easy. If you are Joe Blow who just wants to go to look around and waste everyone's time, no one really wants you there. It's that simple.

Trivia fact: the BIGGEST gun SHOW (not "trade" show that USED to take place was at the Pomona fair grounds. It was the Los Angeles County gun show, produced by Crossroads of the West. Sadly, LA board of STUPIDvisors halted that once great gunshow. It was THE best and largest for us regular Cali "subjects.". Now, its gone forever.

That would be the Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show.

I've been there...got a ticket for FREE waiting in line when the guy in front of me asked if I voted Republican in the last (2004) election, to which I honestly answered "yes".

                          It's freakin' HUGE show!

I note that they have moved to a November dates for the first time in 50 years.

                            Holy crap....

                            MORE THAN 4,100 TABLES!

IN ONE ENORMOUS 11 ACRE AIRCONDITIONED AND HEATED ROOM!

Something to think about: If all our tables (2800 8ft. and 1200 6ft.) were placed end to end they would stretch 5.7 miles!

If you spend the whole 18 hours we are open to the public and divide that by 4,100 tables, You will have 15.8 seconds to look at each table.
Now that's a freaking gun show.

Was there last fall. They have a spring and fall show.

It is huge! Took a whole day to walk it and there were 100's of tables I did not even look at. Almost every table was gun related which was really cool.

There were tons of guns way out of my price range like $30,000 and $40,000 henry rifles. I would say 30-40% of the tables were old winchester lever guns and colt revolvers and other C&R stuff. Not as many modern firearms as I had anticipated but still a must see if you every get there.
