BLM question

I looked on the website and saw there is an office here in Fresno. Can I go there and will they tell me exactly where I can go shoot?? Or just hand me a map and say, "Here, now get out of here" or something along those lines. . Thanks

Check these guys out http://www.huntinggpsmaps.com/ I think they have a version that you can put on your computer for free. For $99 you can get the one that goes on a GPS that you can carry right in the field. I don't know much about the BLM maps but from what I understand property lines change quite often. If they aren't this years maps be very careful. Also, BLM Bakersfield has a free Google Earth map for their area and I think Hollister does also. I have the Bakersfield map and can send it you just need an email addy.
