Sights and glasses ?

Question;

How does one deal with waring glasses that are tri-focals. I ware glasses that have 3 different corrections in them.
Alone the top of the lens are set for long distance, middle for mid range and along the bottom 3rd for close up.

Without the glasses on I can see fine for normal everyday things except things up close.
The problem is when looking at my gun sights with glasses on. To see the sights well I have to look through the bottom 3rd of the lens. But to see the target well, I need to look through the top 3rd.
Its difficult to say the least with open sights.

I did install a scope on my rifle with adjustable power that helps a lot. So much so that I don't ware the glasses with it.

I guess I won't make the Olympic shooting team anytime soon.

Any suggestions ?

Simple. You focus only on the front sight. If your sights are zero'ed in correctly, execute good trigger pull, and accept your wobble, you'll get your shot in the bullseye every time.

Olympic-style shooters do the same thing, but they expect to hit the 10-ring every time.
