Fla. Gov. Scott signed the bills

An update. Yesterday Gov Scott signed SB 234 which allows for brief, inadvertant exposure of a concealed firearm. This was originally a bill in the Florida House which would have made LOC legal for CWFL holders, but it got watered down in the Florida Senate and the House chose not to press the issue. Many OC advocates in Florida were hoping Scott would veto the bill to give full LOC another shot in next year's legislative session. Others (me included) don't think it matters as to whether or not LOC will be on next year's agenda. We'll see.Comment
