silly home defense situation....

so I picked up my glock 21 the other day and today I set up the new gun vault safe under the bed with the girlfriend and showed her how to use it. as we were getting ready for bed she turns to me and says "Its cool we got a snazzy new gun in case somebody comes in the house, but how am I gonna hold a flashlight, a gun, and my boobs...."

both of us sleep naked and Ive never really thought of trying to fight off an intruder with the boys swingin all nimbly bimbly as I shoot him haha.
I guess I should put a pair of boxers in the gun safe haha.

There was a time when I ran outside buck naked with a loaded 12 gauge. I thought someone was on the roof of my enclosed patio (which has a metal roof). I heard insanely loud noises like someone had slipped up there and kept trying to get up. I ran outside w/my 870, and ran out in the lawn so I could see who ever was up there. The noises stopped, and I couldn't see anyone. I saw my cat the next day and he was all cut up. I guess he got in a brawl with either another cat or a racoon.

Well, I use it as a distraction. Not to brag, but I call it my "shock and awe" defense technique. They focus on the canon and don't notice the handgun

How about a pair of heavy canvas shorts with cargo pockets by the bed. You want a belt, holster, magazines, light and cellphone all ready to go, on the shorts. Slip on the shorts, made easier because they are canvas and you are good to go with the correct equipment. Add or subtract equipment, whatever works for you. Your GF has an advantage waving those puppy's
