    Shot Barrett M95 today.........

I was at Oaktree Gun club and they had a demo, and sale happening.
So I got to fire a couple of .50 BMG shots from the M95, and WOW!!!!!
pretty much unlike anything I have or probably will ever fire again!
    Was freakin awesome.
    I also fired 100 rds. of 5.56 thru a S&W M&P15, the 5.56 is noticeably more powerful than .223.

It was a damn good time considering I went there to shoot my pistol.

M95s are pretty rare these days. Before the M99, they were the most accurate Barrett rifles and in use by NSW throughout most of the 90s, until replaced by McMillan TAC-50s.

i was told by the young guy that works in the handgun rental area at oak tree that it was felony to be in possession of 50 bmg ammo in ca. interesting.
Iam a good shot. At least i think i would be. Iam a good free throw shooter.

I've never really felt a difference.

I own two 50BMG's. I have an AR50 and a Viper. The way I understand it is that I need to be with the rifle. That is I cannot loan it to someone, such as for then to go shoot it without me. LAW or not "I" am not likely to send out a $5000 gun package and ammo at $3+ per round without being there myself. So I do not get too concerned about any of the small stuff.
