Vallejo June4/5 Gun Show Feedback

Gun show? You mean jerky and craft show with $10 admission plus $5 parking?
IMO they are never worth the cost. Gun shows in this state are a joke. I went to one two years ago when I first moved here and swore to never go again. What a waste of money. The only reason to go would be the ammo, but miwall is not that good of a deal compared to what you can get online if you get a special at Cabelas for free or reduced shipping (like the $5 shipping promotion on right now)
Back in Idaho, we had a gun show about every 3 months that was only $5 and no fee for parking. The venue was about the size of cow palace, but all the tables are actual guns for sale.NRA Benefactor Member sigpic -
It depends on what you're looking for. New guns that are otherwise readily available (glocks, etc) will be full retail price. There *are* deals to be had - I've snagged a few hard-to-find S&W's at the Cow Palace show over the last 5 years; and at the Vallejo show a few years ago there was a Model 16 (one of the rarest S&W's out there) for sale at a totally reasonable price.
There have been a few times I left empty-handed, but it's always worth a morning's visit.

Come on, it's California. Can't compare with Idaho or other states.Gun show? You mean jerky and craft show with $10 admission plus $5 parking?

Vallejo is one of the more decent shows left in the Bay Area.
Did you attend?
There weren't that many craft vendors and only one jerky vendor.
Not a bad place to be on a rainy morning, I was entertained.***Honesty is the Foundation of One's Character***

I was at the show and unlike the naysayer that hasn't been to one in two years, I'll say it was a damn good show. The largest croud I've seen in several years. The venders were virtually all gun related (1 coin collector, 1 jerky sales) all tables were rented-out. It's worth the trip.sigpicComment

more reloading stuff and less arts and crafts lol. I enjoyed it a lot and was happy to see how busy it was. I thought this had been one of the best shows at vallejo in a whilesigpic In order to succeed, you can't be afraid of failure.Comment
