Does Front Sight allow ammo that has been pre-loaded onto stripper clips?

It has been about a year since I've gone to Front Sight. I have enrolled in a four-day Practical Rifle course and got the idea of pre-loading all of my ammo onto stripper clips to make it easier to reload during the course of the day.

Halfway through loading my ammo, I realized that Front Sight checks ammo upon check-in. Does anyone know if I can bring in the empty boxes along with my ammo on stripper clips and pass the inspection?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dont see why that would be an issue. When I took that course they just asked for a magazine with a few rounds in it to test your rifle. They didn't even ask to see the ammo box.

If you're concerned just keep an unopened box of the ammo you will be using for them to inspect if they want to see it, and load the rest on your stripper clips.

Shouldn't matter if it's new ammo.

Is it an AR or an AK?

The reason I asked, I had ammo loaded on strippers for an AK and the chinese made stripper guide didnt work well (have tried several of them none worked well). It was soft steel and spread out when pushing the rounds in, making it useless. Would be a drag to load all th strippers and have them not work right. The US GI guides and strippers for AR's work very well. I'd suggest taking extra guides, if you lose the only one,......

Okay, thanks for your input. I saved the boxes and have some that are unopened.

The ammo is .223 and is for an AR. I didn't know AK rounds could be put on stripper clips.

Thanks also for the tip on bringing an extra stripper clip guide.

The type of ammo is all they care about. The strippers are not an issue
BUT... have you tried the LULA stripper device?

That is a really cool looking device. I will definitely check one of those out.

              Thanks.
