Gun Show in Vallejo on Sept. 8 & 9

Is this worth going to? I know MiWall is one of the list of vendors.

if you need some beef jerky, or need some ammo and can't wait for it to be shipped, then it could be worth it.

      otherwise, not so much...

I like going to this one - it's out of the city, parking is cheap and I can drive a bit further & hit the gun stores in Vacaville, Sacramento & Elk Grove. Then hit Canyon, Imbert/Smithers and Tabors on the way back so long as I budget my time a bit. I have to pick up a Smith Model 10 at Imbert anyways.

Vallejo seems to have alot of the items I look for - reloading supplies and ammo mostly.

I'm interested to see if they have more vendors now that the Sept gun show @ the Cow Palace is cancelled (voluntarily, not by the weasel politicians).

I used to go to this one to buy cheap ammo. It used to be a little cheaper than mail order. Don't know if that's still true.

The past few times I have attended Vallejo or Antioch, there has been mostly ammo and accessaries. Not a lot of handguns, and many over priced relics.
DFletcher. If you are making your way through Martinez back to the penninsula, Check out the Walnut Creek area. You must stop in to Contra Costa Collectable Firearms. Best place for used guns IMO.

I agree - definitely my kind of store. Chuck & crew close up about 4pm, may or may not be able to make it in time. I think the last few shows @ Vallejo they had a table so maybe I'll see them there.

They have so much of my $$$. Last year I bought a Detonics MKVI, went to pick it up & they had a Smith Model 25 - picked that up 10 days later & grabbed a heavy barreled Winchester target model. I could buy a gun there every time I visit.

Cool, thanks for the reminder mecam. I might have to hit up this show just for the Miwall reloads. I've gone through a case of their 9mm reloads without a single failure so it's definitely proven itself reliable to me.

Yea, I use their .40 reloads and haven't had a failure. Can't beat $7.67 for a box of fitty.

Vallejo's usally a decent show....usually about...maybe 30% smaller than the Cow Palace. DO tend to find a lot of C&R not found at the Cow.

MUCH MUCH MUCH bigger than the Napa shows....DONT waste your time. I aint been to a SAC show in quite some time but about the same size from what I remember. Larger than Yuba shows and a tad bigger than Chico shows. Redding has been hit/miss and I aint been to a Red Bluff show in years and years.

Definitely smaller..a LOT smaller than Reno shows.

Do you have a link to the gun show including times and location?

                      Thanks.
