Mini 14 HI CAP mag question

I picked up a nice MINI-14. The seller had a whole bag full of 10 to 40 round magazines ( PROMAG and other brands ). They all had the floor plates off so they where not fully built magazines.. I have no need for 10 magazines. As long as I keep the floor plates off I can sellt hem as rebuild kits right? My only concern is that 3 of the 20 round mags are actual RUGER FOR LE or MILITARY use only nags, so I do not know if I can sell them.

LE markings have no concern to you. You are correct that you can have or sell any disassembled large capacity magazine as a rebuild kit, even the LE mags.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Aren't Mini-14s considered featureless (fixed stock, no pistol grip & no muzzle brake device)? Being so, couldn't you run hi-cap magazines on this rifle?

You need to do a search in the legal forum on hicap mags... That's all I can say...

Yes, you can use large-capacity magazines in a featureless mini-14, except the OP does not have any lawfully owned large-capacity magazines for the mini-14. Assembling the magazine parts that he has in order to use them in his mini-14 would be felony manufacturing of large-capacity magazines.

You are right. I have a few HI cap mags from a long time ago that I use in my older Mini-14 which is why I have no need for these ,exept for maybe a spring or bottum plate for my existing mags. I just wanted to clarify that I am correct in my understanding of the law, which is that I can sell the kits without any issues as long as I do not build the kits up to functional status.
