AR-15 HELP!!!

if i tell you, will you tell me what powder charge for a 155, at 6 miles?Okay, so I got a 14.5" barrel (Yes, the flash hider is permanently attached) and it's stamped "5.56 NATO 1:9". Now I don't know too much about .223/5.56mm but all I know is that I've been shooting Federal XM193 (5.56mm 55gr. FMJ)'s out of it, and it works fine...
BUT HERE'S MY CONCERN:
Is there certain rounds I can/cannot shoot thru this barrel?
I read that certain rounds can damage or destroy the barrel from the inside like heavier 72gr., etc. I know they make different barrel ratios (1:7,1:9,1:12), so what rounds can I shoot thru 1:9?
Reason I ask is because Remington UMC .223 55gr. is more available than Federal XM193's in my area. I usually have to buy a bunch of little boxes or order in bulk online. That may be a CG first!

Ok this is coming from a precision shooter and reloader. You can shoot anything from a 40-69 gr, and at higher altitude you will be able to shoot at 75-77 out to about 200 yards beyond that it will not be too stable and start to key hole. There is nothing you can shoot through it that will hurt it. Make sure that the COL is below 2.26" in order for the round to fit the mag. There are sniper everywhere and nowhere.....who knows what is out there.

You can shoot any weight through it without damage to the barrell. The heavier bullets will not properly stabilize in the 1:9 twist rate but will give ok accuracy under 200 yards . But with a 14" barrell I would think you are not out to be driving tacks with it. So I would have no issues shooting the readily available and lower cost loads in 55 and 62 grain rounds.
The one thing you want to avoid is shooting 5.56 ammo in 223 chambers because the 223 chamber will be smaller than the 5.56 casing dimensions. Not saying it will not work but you run the risk if many issues.Comment
