I'd say take a look at the airsoft gear, its cheap (I've seen little kids running around all decked out in the crap) and looks close enough to the real deal for your purpose.

Yeah... Dr. K would have to be my advisor lol. The good news is we'll mostly be working with Dr. E in the composites lab most of the time.

I'm not a senior yet, I'm Sophmore/Junior level right now, I'm trying to get the project out of the way ASAP so I can do design my senior year.

Dunno if we've met, but I'm in the earlier session of structures.
