Im looking to buy my first 1911, I was looking at the Springfield operator, with the OD armorkote. But its kind of expensive, should I just go with a Springfield loaded. Are there many differences between the two guns?

Have you shot a couple different ones? I like the Paras, because of the double stack Magazines & frame. I prefer a large grip & can't shoot a Single Stack worth a Hoot.
Find the one you shoot well & save up more $ if you need to.Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

MC Operator is a loaded version of a 1911 with rails. Loaded version is a great choice if you dont need the light rail.Comment
