Can any tell me what M6 and A2 stand for? Thanks

They don't stand for anything. M6 is their AR-15 series. A2 is a model in the M6 series.

M6 is their version of the ar15/m4 and the a2 has the buis that wont interfere with the addition of an optic, and their carbine piston system instead of the fixed front sight like the A1 or the adjustable midlength piston system like the A3.

M6 is what LWRC calls their AR-15 variant/platform. A2 means it's their third variant.

So far they have:

M6- Average regular looking AR-15 but has piston gas system, fixed front post sight, plastic handguards.
M6A1- Piston gas system, rail, fixed front post sight.
M6A2- Piston gas system, rail, front and rear iron back up sights.
M6A3- Adjustable piston gas system, rail, rear iron back up sight, front fixed but foldable front sight.
M6A4- Select fire, LEO ONLY.

6 times better than anything else out there.
