I went last year to the Shot show. Way to much to see and touch.
My feet are still recovering from all the walking. I have to remember to not bring so much crap back with me.

I can't believe you gave up a chance to go to SHOT. I would have loved to go. Drove to Big Reno in November and man was that a long drive.

Do they allow photos to be taken at the Big Reno Show? If I ever went, I'd want to take along a digital camera to take photos of all the cool stuff that we can't own over here.

OHHH BU! The big Reno show is great but the Shot show is amazing! Heaven on earth man! Maybe you and your friends should go to both!

The first time I went, they had an option of "Friend of Show" and it was $15.00. I know of folks who weren't in the industry who attended under that category.

It is a great show, but a little disheartening to fondle cutting edge stuff that you will never get to play with on this side of the fence. HK had a nice booth IIRC. Wear comfortable shoes, the place is huge!

I would say to do both as well.
