    Question on selling a pistol

A friend would like to sell several black powder replicia colt 1851 pistols and one muzzle loading pistol. Can these be sold face to face in California or do these pistols need to be transfered through a 01 FFL. Thanks for the help with this question.

They can be transfered in California face to face or even shipped without having to go through a dealer.

      This.

They aren't considered firearms by CA or Federal law in regards to transferring.
