Another Pronunciation Thread - Lapua

So how is Lapua pronounced? It kind of looks like La - poo - uh but I always want to say la - POW because I always think of the .338 that bears its namesake.

Regarding the shiraz/syrah pronunciations, the syrah grape is traditionally called syrah in Europe and the United States. Only in Australia (and N.Z.) is it called the shiraz.
