Ever dump a load of cash on a gun you thought was cool but then you never used it?

Back in 2009 I dumped a whole bunch of money on an AR Pistol. I was still in CA at the time and put about 1500 into the gun total. I spent a LOT of money personalizing it, putting a bunch of aftermarket high quality attatchments on it, Flashlight, Rail system, Etc. All in all I believe theres atleast 2500 into this gun. Guns get expensive, No? I have NEVER Even fired this AR Pistol. It still has the BB on it from when I moved out of California. What do you think I should do with it? Sell it? Shoot it? Give it as a gift? I'll let the poll decide.

I've got a question, Though. Being in a free state so long has dulled my knowledge a bit. How easy would it be to re-sell this to a CA Resident? BB, 10 Round magazine, Semi automatic. I actually didnt even touch it and start modifying until late 2010. I recall browsing the for sale forum on here and saw a CG'er with a beautiful AR pistol. I can only recall it as having a Shinyish green lower with an American flag on it, And a rail system. Although mine would probably be constituted as an 'evil black assault pistol.' Currently in the safe in the back of my truck, But will get pics after the move is done.

Lets have a raffle, sell 200 tickets at $20 a pop. Make a little cash and make someone very happy indeed.

With the Draco AK pistol smuggling being busted in New Mexico Im suprised the brady's havent tried to ban any yet, Maybe when they try to ban AR and AK pistols prices will skyrocket and I can sell my maybe 3k investment for 6k?

I voted that you should give it as a gift....maybe to some Firefighter in So Cal, who would give it a good home.

Shoot it. Toss the BB and either give a chance as is, or as "ghost" says, SBR that bad boy...maybe with a suppressor, too.

I say sell it. Part it out so you get most of your money back. No point in keeping a gun you dont shoot and shooting it one or two times is just gonna depreciate it even more. Keep it as unfired and you can get a bit more money back than a gun thats been used. Use the money to buy someting youll have fun with.

I bought a Tubb 2000 target rifle about 7 years ago, hoping to compete in High Power but I don't have time to compete. The rifle has never been fired. I think I paid $3,200.00 for it and now used rifles are going for $4,500.00 to $5,000.00. At least it has been a good investment.
