Thank you all for your input, sounds like the shows these days are just that...shows. Those fighting sticks were just tired, maybe they just got done fighting. But seriously, as much as like jerkey I guess I'll pass on the shows. I got my Yugo when Turners had that sale the end of Dec for $149, now they are back to regular price and just have the leftovers but they say another shipment is on the way. I'd like to get a variety in my collection (chinese, russian, etc.) but I guess I waited too long to jump on the wagon. I remember when I used to pass by the racks of $89 sks' and pay them no mind! STUPID! As soon as they get another shipment I'm getting two, sale or not!

The best gun show left in CA is probably the Costa Mesa Crossroads show. It has the most gun-related stuff anyhow.

I mostly buy ammo, and look for stuff you can't get except from private party (pre-2000 pistols, for example). Sometimes you get lucky, and it's good exercise.

The last Glendale gun show was downright sad. You'd be better off going to the mall with your wife. No kidding. Sometimes it's just mediocre- I'd say you;re better off waiting for the Ventura or Costa mesa show.

Going to Either Reno, Vegas, or Phoenix will ruin it for you for ALL CA gun shows. But having any show to go to is better than no show at all.

Right on all counts - and for as many tables and the size Glendale offers, it is one of the worse when it comes to non-gun junk. Such a bummer that Pomona Fairplex/Western Gun Show is a thing of the past. First time I ever went to that, I was amazed!! Anyone that never got the chance to see that gun show has never seen a true gun show.
