    Fake Suppressor

I have a Ruger SR-22. If you don't know what it is, it comes with a top rail on it, a threaded barrel with a flash suppressor on it, a telescoping stock (or callapsible?) pistol grip.

Now I've added a forward folding pistol grip and a red dot sight and a fake suppressor I bought at a gun show. Someone told me I can't even have a fake one on just for looks in CA but I'm not sure.

Is there anything wrong with the way my rifle is set up?

Thanks for any help and information you can offer me.

Rather than just say you're GTG, a little explanation may help....

You can use a threaded barrel on a rimfire rifle but not on a rimfire pistol in CA (there may be some minor exceptions to this, but for the most part this is it). Therefore on your rimfire rifle, you can use a fake can on the front... just as long as it's exactly that, a fake can for looks and nothing more.
