Please help me identify this part

    Hi all
I got this part and thought it was german but wasn't sure. my 7 year old son said dad is that a HK21 he said it looks just like the one from his video game Black ops. I did some research and they look the same but want to make sure before i try and sell it. i looked up some prices but there crazy expensive. any help with identification and price would be appreciated, thanks

It used to be an HK21/91 type rifle, or even CETME. Looks like someone saw-cut the receiver to deactivate it.

So you've got the front receiver stub with a barrel attached.

There's no other info to give.

It looks like a .308 (look into the chamber, drop a round in, see what fits), which would be an HK91, CETME, clone or variant, but the portion of the receiver that normally has all the markings has been cut off and is missing. Without those, you'll likely never know more than what we've already told you.

For some reason I'm thinking CETME, not H&K.

Not sure why. Just something says CETME about it.

If it's an HK, there should be proof marks on the barrel.

Ok I got my HK in my hand right now with the forearm removed. bottom of the barrel right next to the receiver pin theres a JA B8. There is also an eagle with an "N" under it. An eagle would be a give away that it is an HK.

On your first pic, someone took the time to cut a notch out of the receiver right were it has the make and model.

I think that's part of what said 'CETME' to me. Also, I seem to recall my H&K being ... blacker ...

But then, age may be dulling my memory ...
