New Dick's Sporting Goods in San Luis Obispo

Dick's Sporting Goods is going to open a new store on Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo adjacent to the new Target store. I hope this store will carry firearms like other Dick's stores.

The Sports Authority chain also carries firearms but it does not in their stores in Downtown SLO. I would hate to see Dick's follow suit. Please take just a quick moment to e-mail Dick's an encourage them to offer firearms at their new store in SLO:

A couple of thousand e-mails could really make Dick's take notice. Thanks.

FWIW, none of the Dick's down here in SoCal carry firearms or ammo.

I know they're Dicks, but are they nice guys?

      sorry, couldn't help it....
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Yup, they took over the Circuit City building. Opening soon. I was wondering if they were going to sell guns. They are right accross the street from a Big 5.

Good using the old Circuit City building, means we'll all have a big Dick's.

Oceanside used to have a store called Chicks sporting goods. A while ago they merged or got bought out by Dicks. The merge was Chicks with Dicks. Thought that was funny. Haven't been in to see if that have guns or not.

This is true. My gf works at a DSG store, and all the ones I've been too have nothing in regards to firearms or ammunition. They've even been slow on the draw on stocking knives (they only started doing so a couple of weeks ago).

I'm curious what kinds of firearms they would sell. I know all too well what kind of inventory Big 5 always has.

                          Big Dick's small Dick's, same difference, a Dick('s) is a Dick('s).

Out here, the selection is similar to what you find in Big 5, without mil surps.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.
