    Brady Campaign 2011 report... grrrr....

Us crazy Utahns caught the Brady campaign's eye for having crazy gun laws like being able to defend yourself at college!

I made a little graph of brady scores vs. gun murders per 100K used to shut up the brady-campaigner here at work.

I'm interested to see your graph but "Access Denied" is all I'm looking at on this page. Can you help out?

this is a link that is at the bottom of the page that pops up... notice out of the 9,146 murders related to firearms in the US, 1,360 are in California!!

I think I have the graph fixed so everyone can see it and not be signed into googledocs.

Just keep in mind that this graph only proves that Brady Scores and gun control laws don't effect the murder rate.

IT DOES NOT PROVE that a higher number = more crime. It only proves that the two stats are unrelated, which IS a positive for our side. Just don't get caught up in making the wrong argument.

What would be interesting is plotting the Brady scores against the violent crime rate in general, and not just gun murders or gun deaths.
            Please read the Calguns Wiki
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
