Some guy did the same thing to me before we had the iTrader system. I would have left negative feedback as well. A man that does not stand behind his word is no man at all.

Negative feedback. You're definitely out money, anyone who says otherwise most likely believes in Obamanomics.

as far as I am concerned time is my most valuable asset so if you waste my time its worse then wasting my money, I can always earn more money, but you can never give me back my wasted time...

Sounds like this seller has earned negative feedback.

Leave him negative feedback. Let others decide how they will interpret your poor experience with him.

Then i don't here from him
This morning he says that he had a family thing so couldn't make it. and that he is just going to keep the gun.
In a later pm he said that he ended up selling it yesterday for more then he was asking. I can understand wanting to get as much as you can but how about letting me know so that i don't waste my time running to the bank and expecting to meet him.
This is not EBAY. He accepted asking price and then sold it for more. NEGATIVE feedback.

This seller is someone who, if no negative feedback or atleast neutral with the statement of him being a flake, will do this again. Atleast it would be helpful for buyers that deal with this seller in the future can expect that this might happen to them. If the seller wanted the highest price he should have chose another way to sell his gun like an auction...

I hate wishy washy people. There's more to it than just the gas or the time. I'm sure everyone gets really pumped thinking they are going to get something and then someone flakes on them.

There's been lots of times I wish I hadn't made the deal, but still go through with it because my word is everything...as a buyer and as a seller.

I can also say that there's been several calgunners that actually held an item for me for several days before I could get to the area and meet up when they could understandably sell to the first person to show the money and not feel bad about it. I contribute this to my good feedback and it's already paid off for me in that way. I have a few items that I wouldn't have if it weren't for the great people on this board.

Neutral at least. People need to know about this.

20 years ago a guy gave me the runaround on a trade for 2 wheels that he had for a 400 chevy block I had. The block was perfectly good for his use, and was going to be rebuilt. He had nothing into the wheels and both items were worth about the same. I borrowed a truck, loaded this heavy thing myself and made a 1 hour round trip all for him to look at it and say "I changed my mind". I was bent.

                          Moral of the story?

Just a few years ago he had put his Nova project car up for sale. He and another guy I know struck a deal, the other guy sold his car to by the Nova and when he showed up to buy the Nova the guy said he changed his mind. Fact is that these boneheads never change. Even 15 years later.

I just sold a Streamlight tlr-2 on the parts and accesseries forum and shortly after the first I'll take it (which needed to be shipped), I received offers for FTF an even one for more cash than what I was asking. Regardless of the convenience and extra profit of the later offers I informed them that it was already SPF and if the buyer fell through I would PM them back. The first guy that said I'll take it sent his payment immediately that night and I promptly shipped it to him the in the morning. If the buyer would have flaked in any way then I could understand selling to the next in line but to flake on a perfectly good buyer for no reason other then greed... Keep in mind the seller didn't show the day they were supposed to meet and then lied and said he was gonna keep it only to later PM him that he took a higher offer.

                              The bottom line is this.

The seller's honor, word, and integrity

Can be bought for the difference between the original deal

And what he finally sold it for

I'd bet it's less the $50.00, if that.

                              Nice.

                              People should know this

And you can attach whatever label on it that you want

The original buyer was inconvenienced , and his time was wasted

                              Time is money

A logical conclusion comes from this

sounds like a raw deal to me
