During the marathon road trip last week to relocate my toys from CA to NC, our first stop from the Bay Area was Amarillo, TX (long first leg) for some barbeque, sleep and replace the BB's on the AR's with standard mag catches.
I didn't pull the muzzle brake off the M1A and replace with the flash hider but that will be a chore that will have to get done shortly.
It's going to take a few days to get myself to the range, but just knowing that I'm back in America and have 2A rights to exercise again, relatively uninfringed, is liberating.
The day after arrivale we were tooling around town and happened across Carolina Sporting Arms. Had to stop in and take a look around. A guy was buying a gun on what seemed to be a whim and was taking it with him that day.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for y'all still in CA and a light on in NC for refugees.
