Armed man fends off sword-wielding 'ninja'

A Fayette County man attacked by a "ninja" with a sword quickly ended the encounter by pulling a gun.

"The only word that comes to mind is, 'seriously?'" Santino Guzzo, 29, of South Union said today. "I know this isn't a laughing matter, but how many people get attacked by a ninja? Really, a ninja?"

Ninja couldnt even keep his footing!!

"He was like a gazelle that just got attacked by a lion," Guzzo said. "He got up and fell, and got up and fell. Then he jumped off a cliff."

Guzzo said he will not live in fear of the ninja`s return.

"I'm a firm believer in my Second Amendment rights," he said.

I remember years ago when the Internet was all unix and any graphics had to be uuencoded and uudecoded, there was a thread on alt.guns or alt.firearms (I forget which) that included detailed posts from a pawnshop owner (somewhere down south maybe) who was attacked at his desk by an unhappy sword-wielding customer pissed off about a transaction. The owner was run-through multiple times, as I recall, and with his insides coming out from more than one wound, he finally put the attacker down (for good) with...

                            a .25 acp single-action semi-auto (3-4 shots to the eyes/forehead as I recall).

The thread was extremely interesting because it chronicled the whole experience from the original disputed transaction through the multiple surgeries required by the pawnshop owner to his ultimate recovery.
