Police Chief Renaud Takes Command
Folsom Police Chief Cynthia Renaud was officially sworn in during a May 2
ceremony at City Hall. -----------------------Before joining Folsom's Police Department, Chief Renaud was a 19-year veteran of the Long Beach Police Force. She joined that department as an officer and progressed through the ranks to commander.-------------------Previously, she served as Commander of the East Long Beach Patrol Division, with 144 sworn officers serving a population of 200,000 in a 26-square-mile area.

Anybody appointed out of the LA area makes me nervous.

Why would it make you nervous? The previous chief never issued any ccw's and had more of a "I'll protect you" stance.

She is also a ex fed. So, I dont know what that means. I hear sac has been more generous with CCWs. Anyone know her stance?

She was interviewed on Good Day Sacramento last week, or maybe the week before. She seemed OK, but it was mostly a fluff piece and 2A issues were not discussed. You may be able to find it on GDS's website.
