    multiple guns in 30 days?

I just bought a Remington 870 shotgun 2 weeks ago (picked it up the other day after waiting 10 days) and I am looking to buy an AR lower soon, as I understand the lower receiver is the only piece that requires a background check and 10 day waiting period. Can multiple firearms be purchased within this time frame? The gentlemen at the gun shop told me I had 30 days to pick up the gun before the DOJ check was became invalid. Can I now purchase the AR lower within this time frame? Will I be able to skip the waiting period, and/or DROS fee?
    Thanks for the help!

1 in 30 applies to handguns only.

PPT and intrafamilial/inheritance are not included.

That pretty much sums it up.

        I have nothing to add.

ETA: your DROS will expire after 30 days and you will have to pay for it again.

Correct! And you would have to go through with the entire process again, plus the 10 days wait. So don't forget to pick your firearm up! (Don't think how anyone could)

It expires 30 days after you DROS, so you have 20 days after the waiting period to pick it up.

I am not sure if you just need to pay for DROS again, or if you have to wait 10 days as well. Nevermind, nbkvig2 posted it already.
