PPT question (handgun)

Did a ppt. At pickup only paperwork I got was the cashiers receipt. No Doj info, serial, nada...
Turners always gave me more then this place.

Am I supposed to have docs?

Insist on them.

I believe the FFL is legally required to provide you with a copy of the DROS upon request, but I'm not 100% sure.

12076(b)(5) If the transaction is a private party transfer conducted pursuant to Section 12082, a photocopy of the original shall be provided to the seller or purchaser by the dealer, upon request. The dealer shall redact all of the purchaser's personal information, as required pursuant to paragraph (1) of subdivision (b) and paragraph (1) of subdivision (c) of Section 12077, from the seller's copy, and the seller's personal information from the purchaser's copy.

They haven't thrown it away, just ask for a copy. Like the statute says, you do have to request it, but almost every dealer provides a copy, with the other guys info blacked out.
