DAMN!!!! I just discovered those guys the other day. They may not transfer off-list receivers but those guys are really awesome! They are enthusiastic, informative, knowlegeable, and have an impressive line-up. Now that they are leaving I'm left with Wild Sports. Don't even get me started on that place. Worst customer service ever. They once even refused to sell me .30-06 ammunition because it "Can be used inside a pistol so we can sell it to those under 21."

Yep, one of my students called me after she went to get a holster today. Too bad. Ammo was wayyy expensive, but the accessories for hunting was fantastic.

I got a cool story about one of my female students I trained 3 weeks ago.

Young attractive, live alone lady+
Extensive defensive shooting, Personal Protection by yours truly+
shady characters in her yard in Sacto+
her tactical 870 we put together+
her 9mm sidearm=

No panic when SHTF!!! She WAS prepared!! And to think when she initially called me for training she had not even fired a firearm, now she's 'Rambo". She was a great Student who learned quickly.

Makes a guy feel that he made a difference!!!!

Their ammo prices suck. Rookies running the gun counter too! It's mediocre at best. Me like Reno store way better.

It is nicer at the "American" store they know their stuff a little better than here. The folks at the Reno Walmart gave me 20% off my .223 and 12g ammo for the class on Saturday. The gal there was Pro NRA and loved having someone in full NRA Trainer "garb" walking thru the store. Gotta love it!

Alaska was spectacular. Just back the truck to river, whistle and fish jump into the box! Carried my .44 everywhere without a hitch, even at Safeway!
The 'Salty Dawg' Saloon is still running strong, thanks to my graceful donations while there!!


AR is sweet, the whole class wanted to play!
