    After the sale...

Is it rare that a seller contact the buyer after a transaction is complete with a great find?
I bought a niiice S&W Model 49 from Lefkiguy. Some time later I get a message from him that he located its original box, waxed paper and warranty card.

To me that's going above and beyond.

In my experience, most firearms people are amongst the nicest, most professional people I've ever known. Especially when it comes to sharing their enjoyment with others.

If the seller is a straight up kind of guy, this will happen more often. Congrats on the gun and to a new buddy

I bought a 91/30 from Nick1236 and got a message from him a couple months later that he had found the bayonet and I could have it if I wanted it.

I've sold guns and stuff before and came across something that i knew belonged to the gun I sold so i usually tried to contact the seller. I sent the stuff to them at no charge.
I sold one of my trucks a few years back and I cam across one of the extra key fob remotes. I had the copies of the paperwork showing the new owners address so i mailed it to him. I gave him the original two

In my experience, most people just want to get their gun or money and be on their way. I haven't yet had to talk with a buyer/seller of a firearm after meeting for the DROS. Not to say I am against it, it just hasnt come up.

That was very nice of him to call you about the stuff, I would do the same thing.
