Edit- I tried sending a note to his office but since I am out of his district it was rejected. Interesting enough, he wants to make laws for everyone in California but only wants to hear feedback from those in his district.
My comment was how naive his comment 'You don't need a gun to buy a cheeseburger' really is. True, but you may need one to defend against those who would want to harm you or others. I wanted to remind him of the McDonalds crime in San Ysidro years ago. I am certain victims and families wish someone had brought a gun to the 'cheeseburger' place that day.
