Just bought a AR15 at a gun show, and the dealer passed it down to a FFL dealer during the process the FFL didn't take my finger print. Will this effect me getting my AR15 in 10days?

most likely the FFL'll have you do the fingerprint when you pick it up. It wont' delay your DROS.Jack

I think in theory the thumbprint is supposed to be collected at pick up, but nearly every dealer out there does it at start. Your thumbprint is not submitted in any form whatsoever so your DROS will not be delayed.
Worst case scenario is the FFL gets audited and it isn't there and they get written up for it. It doesn't effect you at all.www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.Comment

No one except for the dealer and you ever see the thumbprint. The only exception would be during a DOJ audit (not an ATF audit, they don't care) since it's a DROS/CA thing only.
If the dealer doesn't ever collect it then HE is the one who gets in trouble, and not you.Please read the Calguns Wiki
