    New wheelgun

Well, I dropped a little more coinage today to feed the addiction. Nuthin' fancy, just a Smith 686 4". I really only got it because a)I had an open slot in my pistol rack and b)I have accumulated quite a stash of 357 brass from shooting other people's guns...and okay, c) it's fun as hell to shoot .357 revolvers.

Funny how every time I buy a new firearm these days I think to myself "okay, that's about all I'm gonna need gun-wise. That should just about round out the ol' collection pretty well." If that resolve even lasts as long as it takes me to drive home from doing the DROS, it's a long time. I start to squirm if we spend more than 100 bucks on a nice dinner, but have no problem what-so-ever dropping substantial cash on a new blaster and the ammo (components) to feed it. What is about guns, anyway?

Starting to think I need an intervention of some sort.

Congratulations on the new purchase. I've got a 686+, 6" and I love it.

I tried to use my best friend and shooting buddy as my intervention when I get the urges to buy a new firearm but that did not work out very well. Now I just call the wife.
