Oh, I forgot about the recent PII that you bought and the "other" LB you are eyeing!
    Thanks, Ernie

Budget. You do not know the meaning of that word.

for the defense of other's that don't spend too much, one can be a real gun nut without spending like crazy. for some people, it may be money for their family's need before money on "toys"

                    CHEATS!!

I only have four categories of amounts of money and they pretty much follow a loose order of magnitude break-down. I call them: couch, car, house, permanent vacation. I'll plead the 5th.

Lotsa people spend large amounts of cash on hobbies. The largest I spent was $10,000 after a 10month tax-free deployment. For months and months I window shopped while deployed and when I got home I bought everything at once reward to myself.

I just blew $15K on a wedding. Sure its worth it but just think of the ammo it coulda been

It used to be in the thousands ... now next to nothing.

One year I bought 6 AR's alone - and the years on either side of that year I bought two or three more. Once I had everything ... California changed it's laws and being a rifle owner was the social equal to being a Nazi.

Life it too short to spend it being a victim (or in jail!) so my firearms were spread to the four winds - and four states. I've bought the OLL to keep my skills honed and shoot more now with my M1A then I ever did but with the price of ammo double or triple of what it use to be it's getting harder and harder to pull the trigger.

I've found that over the years that shooting is sort of like riding a bike, once you've mastered the skills picking up a rifle and hitting the target isn't that hard. The hard part is mastering the skill in the first place and that took years - years when ammo was cheap.

When your getting old you might as well have as many toys possible.

spent well over $20k the past 2 years. But this will stop after I complete my LRB_EBR/NightForce build.
