    Harold Volkmer has died

    Congressman Harold Volkmer died last night. His 80th birthday was April 4th, and his wife reported that he was showered with birthday cards.

    For anyone in the RKBA movement, you know what Harold Volkmer did for us.

    Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19th, from 5 to 8 p.m.:
    James O'Donnell Funeral Home
    302 South 5th Street
    Hannibal, MO 63401

    Rosary will be recited at 4:30.

    The funeral will be on Wednesday, April 20th, at 10 a.m.:
    Holy Family Catholic Church
    1111 Broadway St.
    Hannibal, MO 63401

    Following the funeral mass, burial will be with full military honors at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Hannibal, MO. Congressman Volkmer served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957.
