SLOSA Appleseed Today!

I used an AR for my first Appleseed back in January. For the cost of ammo alone, I could have bought a 10/22, tech sights, and a brick or two of ammo. In hindsight I should have gone that route. I felt like a d*ck all day for using that rifle. The muzzle blast was really bothering the two kids next to me on the line, and I have a flash hider on my AR so it doesn't have too much muzzle blast. I guess the concussion and noise frazzled them. I felt bad, but that was the only rifle I had.

I'd advise, like the other guys in this thread, a 10/22. Or get a bunch of your buddies with centerfire rifles and get put on the line next to each other.

Either way, get to an Appleseed!

It was good to see everyone that showed up. It was even better times for those that showed on sunday. Ken and his attire was perfect. By far the best way to set the mood for the times. The ol' flint lock was absolutely great to see. Can't want to see those of you in the end of July.
