    Do I understand this correctly?

    I'm new to rifles and some of the terminology is sort of confusing me so far but I'm trying!

    Regarding MOA, 1" @ 100, 2" @ 200, etc...

    So a rifle capable of .5 MOA would be shooting a 1.5" group at 300 yards?

    Am I thinking correctly?

          1.047 actually... But since I can barely shoot MOA @ 300, I doubt you will care about the .141 difference in 300yds.
