hehehee.. ok maybe the title WAS a bit dramatic.... 
I have been asked a bunch of times over the last 2 years if I can install and set the headspace on 308 Garands.. well I have been able to install the barrels.. but I only had a 30-06 finishing reamer.. well those days are over! I finally broke down and bought a finishing reamer do to 308 Garand barrels.. why you ask? (and I KNOW some of you will 
) is becasue I have decided to do a 308 Garand.. my 1.7 mil has a barrel that is on the ragged edge of Rack Grade.. so.. I used my C&R dis**** with Gun Parts Corp. (Numrich)and got one of their new 308 barrels.. They are made by the new Citadel barrel company.. for $150+ shipping.. I'll give them a try..... reamer got here yesterday and the barrel will be here shortly (UPS usually gets here around noonish) I'll have everything done Thursday night and hopefully will do a function test at Richmond either Saturday after HP practice or Sunday after the Garand/M1 Carbine match.
