I am sure this has been covered, but I did a search and could not really find much. I am going to be helping my father sell off a gun collection and just need a decent guide as to values. Any help would be appreciated.

One more quick question. What is the best way for him to ship to an FFL near me for the ones that are keepers?

I personally would check the for sale thread and see if any of those guns were listed. Whatever they are selling for is their value +- condition. As far as the best way to ship, I'd say bubble wrapped in a box, unloaded.

Blue book values tend to be high, at least in regards to milsurp guns. Another place to look is Gun Broker and track some auctions. The guns with no bids usually have the or starting bid set too high.
