I've had some instruction with the system. You'd be amazed how much your close range (CQB) speed and accuracy can improve. There are other benefits, though many have more to do with operating in the CQB environment and have limited utility for the non-LE/non-military shooter.I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy! -
This is what they teach at the CATS courses (Civilian Arms Training) at Prado in Chino Hills. I've taken a couple of their course using the CAR system and it has it's place in combat gun fighting in CQB, but not so much for me with longer ranges. I took away quite a bit from the CAR system and still incorporate it with other methods in how I train.Comment
