Gilroy Wal*Mart is selling gun stuff again.

I wonder what made them change their minds. A couple months ago they removed all their ammunition, cleaning supplies, etc. Now if I could only find someone to buy me some 230 .45 ACP.

Maybe they noticed a simultaneous drop in their beef jerky sales
If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

You sure? I thought I was in there maybe a month ago buying some .45ACP... They did do a reorganization a few months back, where they moved some aisles and counters around and put the ammo inside a locked case NEXT to the counter, instead of BEHIND it...

I don't go there nearly as much now that I'm rolling my own.

I go to the Gilroy Walmart regularly. The only time I had trouble finding shooting supplies was during the renovation of the sporting goods department. I can't remember if items weren't there or the dept was in such disarray that you couldn't find the items you wanted.

There were/are some that simply stopped selling all firearms related gear and ammo a while back....but I think the comments peeps sent in registered with them....that or the bottom line of the reduced sales figures by the lack of selling said stuff.

Now if we could only get them to start selling GUNS again............

I know that they were not there because I checked all over the section aisle by aisle. They probably removed them during rearrangement. I remember popping in there a few times and not seeing anything gun related at all save for a couple of left over magazines. I'm a much happier camper now though.

I wished I had smelled the coffee and bought a hundred (or two) of those 40-round boxes of Winchester 55 grain .223, back when they were selling them for just $9.97 + tax...

It really wasn't that long ago, maybe 1 or 1.5 years.
